As one of the contents, this one feature can be said to be the creativity of the developers. The reason is, this is not something that can be found in Harry Potter's original lore itself.<\/p>\n
Although puzzles are not something that is foreign to the world of The Wizarding World, their form will be more authentic and filled with mystical elements that are unique to the wizarding world.<\/p>\n
For example, in the second book of the Harry Potter novels entitled "The Chamber of Secrets" it tells about the existence of a secret room at Hogwarts.<\/p>\n
It is said that this room is the nest of the giant pet snake of the founder of Hogwarts, Salazar Slytherin.<\/p>\n
Not everyone can open it because the door to open the room is equipped with a somewhat complicated "puzzle".<\/p>\n
This puzzle prevents only pure Slytherin bloodline from opening the secret chamber, and removing the dangerous pets inside.<\/p>\n
The puzzle itself can be said to be not too complicated or requires deep specific thought. It only takes 1-2 simple words to be able to open it. But this word must be said using a special language which is a hereditary skill of the Slytherins.<\/p>\n
Yep, that language is Snake Language or what is also often referred to as 'Parseltongue'. This is the closest reference to the concept of the Puzzle on the door which was eventually used as the basis for the Hogwarts Legacy in-game feature.<\/p>\n

Because Parseltongue cannot be found in Hogwarts Legacy lore, like it or not, the concept of puzzles in the doors will have significant differences.<\/p>\n
Like the concept above, to be able to open a door equipped with a puzzle, players must be able to solve existing puzzles. And to provide a challenge in itself, the puzzle is of course presented as a mini-game by the developer.<\/p>\n
The way to solve it is also easy, by only relying on basic math. Basically, the Puzzle on the door will be seen by the presence of symbols and numbers.<\/p>\n
You only need to calculate these numbers to match the total number that exists. To make it a little more complicated, there will be some numbers missing and replaced with 'question marks' (?).<\/p>\n
So, you are assigned to fill in the missing numbers using the symbols around the door, where their presence also represents the numbers (1-9).<\/p>\n

In short, you have to choose the right symbol, as a substitute for the missing numbers, so that the sums listed match. In the wizarding world, this is the study of the study of 'arithmancy' (another name for the math subject in Harry Potter lore).<\/p>\n
To see the formula for the equality of their respective symbols and numbers, you can find them in a blue box in the room where the door is.<\/p>\n
