Suikoden 2 is a genre game JRPGs<\/a> which was released by Konami in 1998 for the Playstation 1 platform.<\/p>\n

Suikoden 2 Story Plot<\/h2>\n

Games<\/a> it is set 3 years after Suikoden and tells the story of an invasion of a city-state called Jowston by the Kingdom of Highland.<\/p>\n
You will play as a quiet protagonist who is the adopted son of a hero who saved Jowston from the Highland Kingdom years ago, Genkaku.<\/p>\n
The protagonist and his best friend Jowy Atreides each get half of the Rune of the Beginning, one of the 27 True Runes from the previous Suikoden series.<\/p>\n
They are caught in the intrigues of various invasions and a dark fate for those who bear half of the Rune.<\/p>\n
Like the previous game series, Suikoden 2 is centered on recruiting the 180 Stars of Destiny, who have the power to change destiny.<\/p>\n

Suikoden 2 Gameplay<\/h2>\n

Suikoden is a JRPG game with elements of strategy that has various gameplay formats ranging from one-on-one battles to large-scale confrontations between 2 armies.<\/p>\n
Players will complete various tasks and chat with other characters. You can also recruit more than 100 new characters, which are often obtained after completing sidequests.<\/p>\n
To collect information, you can visit various cities in this game. You can also strengthen weapons, buy equipment and runes.<\/p>\n
The monsters in this game will appear randomly in the wilderness area. Players will get rewards every time they defeat the monsters they encounter.<\/p>\n
Like most RPG games, Suikoden 2 has a unique character leveling system. There is a certain amount of EXP points that must be earned to level up a character.<\/p>\n
The EXP points you will get depend on the difference between your party members and your opponent. This allows low-level characters to quickly catch up with enemy levels.<\/p>\n
The characters in this game have the number of spell usage per level. For example, a character with 4 level 1 spell slots and a Fire Rune can use \u201cFlaming Arrows\u201d 4 times.<\/p>\n
Some special or skill-based Runes have different rules, such as usage limits or can only be used once in 1 battle.<\/p>\n
The upgrade this game gets is a grid battle system with unit strategy. There is an additional 3 Rune slot that allows players to use 3 different Runes at one time.<\/p>\n
The game also adds a party inventory system, a "Dash" button that allows players to move around the screen more quickly, and significant graphic improvements.<\/p>\n

Suikoden Battle Type 2<\/h2>\n

As in the previous version, Suikoden 2 has 3 types of combat namely Regular<\/em><\/strong> Battles<\/strong>, Duels<\/strong><\/em>, and Massive<\/strong> Battle<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n
Regular<\/em> Battles\u00a0<\/em>is the most common combat type in this game, system turn<\/em>\u2013based<\/em> battle which was very commonly used at that time contained options for attacks, magic (runes), items and more.<\/p>\n
Players may encounter random enemies in maps and dungeons or as specific parts of the story plot. You can have 6 members in your party and face up to 6 opponents.<\/p>\n
Regular Battles\u00a0<\/em>is the only combat type where players can earn EXP points, items and Potch (currency of Suikoden 2).<\/p>\n
Duels are a type of battle where you will fight other characters in one-on-one combat. There are only 3 fighting styles in this mode, viz attack<\/strong>, Wild<\/strong> attack<\/strong> and Defend<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
This duel will use a paper, scissors, rock system where "Attack" beats "Defend", "Wild Attack" beats "Attack", and "Defend" beats "Wild Attack".<\/p>\n
In the Massive Battle type of battle, players will be more interactive than in previous game versions. When you recruit a new character, there will be many choices of units that can be used.<\/p>\n
Certain characters are "unit leaders" while others act as "support". Each character will add a certain amount of defense and attack to their unit.<\/p>\n
In addition, certain characters also add special abilities to the units they enter. This number will affect the chance to win.<\/p>\n
