Creating maps with the editor is relatively complicated because it requires a lot of knowledge of the Unreal Engine. However, it's relatively easy to create simpler maps or maps that can also be edited in the regular Creative mode.<\/span><\/p>\n

On this occasion, we will provide a step by step guide on how to make your own Fortnite map in Creative 2.0.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to Create a Fortnite Creative 2.0 Map on PC<\/span><\/h2>\n
Unreal Editor for Fortnite<\/a> currently only available on PC. Due to its complex nature, this tool or software is not possible in game consoles and mobile phones. However, console and cellphone users can only play the Creative 2.0 map.<\/span><\/p>\n
To get started, you must first download Fortnite Creative 2.0. You can do it easily by visiting Epic Games Store<\/a>. After downloading and opening it, here are the steps you need to follow.<\/span><\/p>\n
Create Project<\/span><\/h3>\n

Once you open the Unreal Editor for Fortnite<\/a>, you can choose the project you want to work on.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
You can choose one of the ready-made islands to help in the one you like the most. After that, the custom map will be loaded in the editor and you can edit every aspect of it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once the custom Fortnite Creative 2.0 map has loaded, you'll be able to edit it with the editor. At this point, your map will be available for gameplay and you can visit it by pressing the \u201cLaunch Session\u201d button on the top bar.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
You can edit almost any aspect of a custom map, from objects to terrain. You can also add custom 3D models and animations.<\/span><\/p>\n
Fortnite Creative 2.0 offers many features that allow you to change the size, shape and material of each object. You can also change the color, texture, behavior with other objects and more.<\/span><\/p>\n
If you're used to creating maps with the original Creative mode, you can always hit the Launch Session button to create a map in-game and use classic creative tools.<\/span><\/p>\n
Epic Games has also released detailed documentation for nearly every aspect of Creative 2.0, including coding.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
How to Download Fortnite Creative 2.0 on PC<\/span><\/h2>\n

Many gamers have decided to download Fortnite Creative 2.0 because it brings a lot of new features to the game.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
This tool is officially named Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) and can be downloaded for free. It was released on March 22, 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n
Map Creative 2.0 is available on all platforms that support Creative mode; however, it is currently only possible to download Fortnite Creative 2.0 (UEFN) on PC.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
The regular Creative Mode can be accessed on any device. Here are the steps you need to take to download Fortnite Creative 2.0 on your computer or PC;<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Open Epic Games.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Search for \u201cUnreal Editor for Fortnite.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Press the yellow button.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you can't find <\/span>add-ons<\/span><\/i> Fortnite, you can get it by visiting the direct link to the Epic Games Store.<\/span><\/p>\n
    Make sure to log in with the main Epic Games account before getting the editor. After adding <\/span>add-ons<\/span><\/i> to the library, you will be able to download and use it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
    Please remember that this is <\/span>add-ons<\/span><\/i> for Fortnite, this means that you also have to install the game on a PC or computer system.<\/span><\/p>\n
    Currently, the Unreal Editor for Fortnite is only available on PC and is unlikely to come to consoles and mobile.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
    This tool is very complex and requires a lot of power, which other platforms cannot handle. Also, developing it for other systems is nearly impossible.<\/span><\/p>\n
    However, the good news is that console and mobile users can play the Fortnite Creative 2.0 map. You can join by simply entering the island code, as before.<\/span><\/p>\n
    While it's not possible to download Creative 2.0 on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, or HP, users of these devices can still contribute to Creative 2.0.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
