Thanks to the buffs he received in MLBB patch 1.7.08 plus the nerfs to Beatrix and Wanwan, Cursed Needle is one of the most popular gold laners in the current meta. <\/span><\/p>\n

He has the fifth-highest win rate (55.07 percent) among all heroes and is top among marksmen at all ratings, according to MLBB statistics.<\/span><\/p>\n

His skill set containing pokes and ranged defense allows him to win most lane fights. His early game dominance means he can get core items quickly to deal massive damage in teamfights and during push turrets.<\/span><\/p>\n

List of Counter Heroes for Melissa ML October 2022<\/span><\/h2>\n

Like all other heroes, he has weaknesses that you can take advantage of. Here are the best Melissa counter heroes for the marksman of the Forsaken Light in Mobile Legends.<\/span><\/p>\n

Moscow<\/span><\/h3>\n

Moskov is Melissa's counter hero<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Moscow<\/a> is one of the few marksman who can be a counter hero for Melissa on the lane. The Spear of Silence had a skill that could negate its piercing prowess.<\/span><\/p>\n

She can easily get out of range of Melissa's ultimate poke ability, Eyes on You! (Skill 2), using Abyss Walker (Skill 1). This also gives her an attack speed bonus that can be used to intimidate Melissa.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can use Spear of Misery (Skill 2) to push him out of Go Away! ultimate, removing his protective barrier. If you fail to push it out, you can still trade basic attacks with Moskov's range.<\/span><\/p>\n

Moskov's passive ability lowers the cooldown of Skills 1 and 2. In situations where both marksman have complete items, Moskov has an advantage because he has stronger abilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Franco<\/span><\/h3>\n

Franco<\/a> is the most effective tank hero used against Melissa. His Iron Hook (Skill1) can penetrate his ultimate barrier and render him useless.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you land Iron Hook and pull it out, the barrier will instantly vaporize and you can hit it with Bloody Hunt (ultimate). Make sure to coordinate with gold laners or any team that can destroy them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Frozen Warrior is also a natural bearer of Dominance Ice which reduces attack speed as well as shields and regenerates nearby enemies' HP. This reduces the attack speed bonus of Melissa's first skill, Falling!, and reduces the lifesteal effect of the Demon Hunter Sword, a core item that is often purchased.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unlike Franco and Moskov who fought Melissa by closing gaps, Yve was able to destroy Cursed Needles with her ranged abilities. All Astrowarden skills can penetrate Melissa's barrier.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you catch Melissa out of position in a team fight, you can use Yve's Real World Manipulation Ultimate to rain down magic nukes. But make sure to position yourself in a safe area where enemies can't reach you easily.<\/span><\/p>\n

If Melissa survives, you can always use Void Crystal (Skill 2) and Void Blast (Skill 1) to stop her from escaping. <\/span><\/p>\n

Remember to build the Ice Queen Wand to further strengthen the slow effect of Real World Manipulation and Void Crystal. Pharsa is a great substitute too with her ultimate Feathered Air Strike if Yve gets banned.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another great mage that you should consider choosing for Melissa's counter hero is Aurora. Aurora is a freeze-powered Mage with insane burst damage who can also provide CC by freezing her targets.<\/span><\/p>\n

Similar to Eudora, Aurora can be a nightmare for Melissa because she can do one-shots with simple combos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Melissa does have a unique way to protect herself from Assassins with her Ultimate, but there is an Assassin who can eliminate her before she can use her Ultimate.<\/span><\/p>\n
That hero is Saber, an Assassin who can dominate the early game thanks to his ability to lock on targets. With his Triple Sweep, Saber can lock Melissa and deal enormous damage.<\/span><\/p>\n
Once Melissa is in range, Saber can make sure to wipe her off the map.<\/span><\/p>\n
