To enable the steam mobile authenticator or Steam Guard on your Steam account, follow the simple steps below;<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Open Steam on your computer and click the Steam icon in the top left corner. In the list of options, click Settings.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. In the Settings window, click the Account option on the left.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. On the right, click the Manage Steam Account Security option. Select the \u201cGet Steam Security Code from the Steam app on my phone\u201d option in Manage Steam Security.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Now open the Steam app on the phone and click on the hamburger menu in the top left corner. In the menu that appears, tap Steam Guard.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. On the Steam Security screen, click the Add Authenticator button. Steam will now send an SMS code to the registered phone number. You have to enter this code and hit the submit button.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Now Steam will provide a recovery code. You have to store them and store them in the warehouse.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Once done, you will see a 5 digit code in Steam Guard. This code will change automatically in seconds.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Now, whenever you try to log in to your Steam account from a new device, you will be asked to enter the Steam security code. You must enter the code from your mobile to access the account.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
