  1. Perform slide jumps by pressing shift, control, and space at the right time while holding down one of the strafe buttons depending on which way you want to go. A will go left, and D will go right.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. At the peak of the jump, flick the mousewheel up or down while holding down the strafe button without moving the mouse. If you did it right, you should see a diagonal pull in the direction you're facing.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. After getting the piece, move the mouse in the direction of the drag while spamming the mouse scroll and holding down the strafe button, and you should successfully tap-strafe.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    When Respawn initially announced the removal of tap-strafing in Apex Legends, there were various concerns. However, after some deliberation, Respawn decided to tweak this movement mechanic.<\/span><\/p>\n
    That means players can still take advantage of techniques for now in a nerf state. There's no telling if Respawn plans to further change how the feature works, but for now, tap-stranding is still available in the game.<\/span><\/p>\n
