Moonton released Mobile Legends: Bang Bang<\/a> patch 1.7.20, and as part of the Project NEXT initiative updating old heroes, the developer has improved Gusion's character model and animations and revamped Lesley<\/a>, two heroes released in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n

The developers decided to do something more for the revamped Lesley. Instead of just updating the character models and their skill effects like they did with Gusion<\/a>, they also perfected some of his skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lesley is always a situational choice, because she lacks early game mobility and damage. However, this change to his skills makes him a viable option in a meta where tanks are now played in jungle and EXP lanes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Revamped Lesley in Mobile Legends Patch 1.7.20<\/span><\/h2>\n

Below are some of the changes Moonton overhauled for this old hero. This will be a nightmare for Tank users.<\/span><\/p>\n

Passive<\/span><\/h3>\n

Revamped Lesley passive skills<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Crit Lethal Shot now deals true damage but reduces basic crit damage. Each fixed physical penetration point is converted to critical damage at a set ratio. <\/span><\/p>\n

Damage reduced from 120 percent physical attack to 110 percent physical attack. Fixed an issue where some equipment could not get the bonus crit chance of this skill<\/span><\/p>\n

First Skills<\/span><\/h3>\n

Revamped Lesley's first skill<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Now comes with a new texture temporarily Masked to better suit the effect. Moonton has also upgraded it for smoother combos with basic attacks. <\/span><\/p>\n

Extra physical attack reduced from 75-200 to 85-135. Fixed an issue where some equipment could not get the bonus attack from this first skill<\/span><\/p>\n

Second Skills<\/span><\/h3>\n

Slightly increased his casting range, redesigned animations and visual effects, and optimized his combos with basic attacks and Skill 1.<\/span><\/p>\n

Redesigned indicators and visual effects. Base damage increased from 200-300 to 250-350. New passive effect also gains critical chance based on skill level (5 percent-15 percent)<\/span><\/p>\n

Lesley Has Sick Damage Like Wanwan And Karrie<\/span><\/h2>\n

The newest Revamped Lesley has the same damage as Wanwan<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
The biggest change to Deadly Sniper in patch 1.7.20 is that he now deals true damage to his first skill, Lethal Shot. Before the update, only two marksman heroes could deal true damage in the game: Karrie and Wanwan.<\/span><\/p>\n
This change already impacts rated games. According to MLBB stats, Lesley is now the second most picked hero in Mythic III and above, overtaking Beatrix for the first time since its release.<\/span><\/p>\n
Ultimate Snipe's base damage has also been slightly increased, and now provides an additional 5 percent crit chance per skill level.<\/span><\/p>\n
While this change is very welcome in the current meta where jungler tanks thrive, he will have less impact in the laning phase against closer range snipers. To compensate for the increased base damage, his attack growth per level and attack speed ratio have been reduced.<\/span><\/p>\n
Lethal Shot also deals less critical damage. Unless you're up against someone who has built defensive items, it likely won't do much damage.<\/span><\/p>\n
In short, the revamped Lesley is a great marksman against the tank lineup but still badly beaten when compared to other marksman heroes who have high DPS and gap closes.<\/span><\/p>\n
