The Minecraft Caves and Cliffs update is just around the corner, and one of the new pieces that will be coming to the game is copper.<\/span><\/p>\n

There's a lot to look forward to from the Caves and Cliffs update. One of the anticipated features is copper ore. This article will cover the addition of copper in Minecraft, along with what players can expect from it. Listed below are five uses of copper in minecraft.<\/span><\/p>\n

Create a Lightning Rod<\/span><\/h3>\n

Lightning is a useful mechanic in Minecraft, it interacts with various monsters and turns them into other monsters. <\/span><\/p>\n

However, lightning is a bit difficult to control and lightning rods are the easiest way to redirect them in a thunderstorm. And this is where copper is used in minecraft that you should know.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lightning rod is a beam used to divert lightning strikes. Players can create lightning rods by combining 3 copper ingots.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lightning strikes within a 128 block (Java Edition) or 64 block (Bedrock Edition) radius of the lightning rod are directed at the lightning rod.<\/span><\/p>\n
