Genshin Impact<\/a> has maintained its tremendous growth so far in 2022, with new characters and regions releasing as scheduled. <\/span><\/p>\n

The next region, Sumeru, will be out later this year, alongside new characters. In this article, we will present the 5 most anticipated Genshin Impact characters in 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

List of the Most Anticipated Genshin Impact Characters for 2022<\/span><\/h2>\n

Kusanali (Dendro Archon)<\/span><\/h3>\n

All archons are strong, and because of that, Dendro Archon Kusanali is the most anticipated Genshin Impact character so far. The fact that he uses an unreleased Element has also been a factor in his popularity. He will likely appear midway through Sumeru's storyline.<\/span><\/p>\n

As revealed by the alt account from Leaker which Uncle DD confirmed, Dendro Archon Lesser Lord Kusanali will use a girl character model. This meant that he would have a similar body type to Klee and Qiqi.<\/span><\/p>\n

While the image above does not depict Dendro Archon, it does collude with previous leaks about his appearance. Overall, with miHoYo's tendency to reuse designs from Honkai, it's likely that Kusanali is based on the Mobius child version of Honkai Impact.<\/span><\/p>\n

Baizhu<\/span><\/h3>\n

Baizhu is the first Dendro user that Travelers find during the Archon Quest. He is the mysterious owner of Bubu Apothecary and the herbalist in Genshin Impact. <\/span><\/p>\n

As far as the upcoming game's character roster, he's an outside option due to his role as an NPC. However, Dendro's vision teamed up with the upcoming introduction of new elements made the hype for him higher than ever.<\/span><\/p>\n

Leaks show that Baizhu will become a catalyst user. When the data miners discovered Baizhu as a playable character in the files, they also found evidence of a distinctive weapon called the Jade Catalyst.<\/span><\/p>\n

Baizhu is the first Dendro user that Travelers find during the Archon Quest. He is introduced to players as the owner of Bubu Pharmacy, which is located in Liyue Port. He definitely stands out from the NPC crowd and can be considered as one of the 5 star characters introduced later.<\/span><\/p>\n

Much speculation suggests that players might finally see Baizhu in the banner after the release of Sumeru in the upcoming patch.<\/span><\/p>\n

Heizo<\/span><\/h3>\n

Shikanoin Heizou is a detective at Inazuma. She works for the Tenryu Commission and is first mentioned in the voiceline of Ayaka and her cousin Kano Nana. Over time, more characters and even Inazuma's bulletin board also mention him.<\/span><\/p>\n

Several leakers have made predictions that Heizou will be a 4-star Anemo unit and the most anticipated Genshin Impact character in 2022. With him being Inazuma's character, it is likely that players will see Heizou before the release of Sumeru.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cyno<\/span><\/h3>\n

Cyno is a female student from Sumeru Academia residing in the land of Wisdom. Lisa also did her studies here, proving that this place is full of talented students and teachers. He first appeared in the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview that miHoYo showed before the official release Genshin Impact<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the Webtoon Genshin Impact, Cyno uses magic and spells to protect his friends from harm. But in the trailer, he is seen wielding a polearm. <\/span><\/p>\n

No official information about the Cyno element is currently available. However, fans theorize that he may be a Pyro user, as there is a red gem attached to his belt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cyno was first introduced to players via the official Genshin Impact manga and in one of the video trailers, \u201cTeyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail.\u201d While Cyno was being teased with a polearm, there was no information about his vision.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the official story, Cyno is introduced as Lisa's acquaintance and a fellow Sumeru Academia student. He is shown using magic spells and spells to defend his allies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speculation suggests that he could be one of the 4 stars that will be featured on the banner once Sumeru is released.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kazuha<\/span><\/h3>\n

Kazuha<\/a> is one of the most popular Genshin Impact characters in the game, especially for tackling more difficult content like Spiral Abyss. <\/span><\/p>\n
He is the most sought-after support character currently in the game, with super versatile skills that can be used in almost any team. Kazuha's EM buffs are generic and suitable for most builds in the game, unlike other supports which can only buff one thing.<\/span><\/p>\n
Even though it offers less CC than Venti, it doesn't matter because not all enemies can be CCed. Kazuha's extra damage was worth a lot more.<\/span><\/p>\n
2022 has been an amazing year for Genshin Impact, and fans can't wait to get their hands on some of the most anticipated characters. With new playable region Sumeru coming in future version update more new characters will appear in feature banner.<\/span><\/p>\n
