The OB34 Free Fire patch has just come out, bringing lots of balance changes and new additions. Unpopular characters get the most buffs overall so they can compete with more popular ones.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this article, we will show you the 5 best FF character skills to use in Free Fire OB34.<\/span><\/p>\n

Active List of FF OB34 Character Skills<\/span><\/h2>\n

Free Fire MAX provides a long list of characters for players to choose from. Every character in the game except Nulla and Primis has a special skill, which the user can use in their mode of choice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, users get two categories of abilities, namely passive and active. The basic difference between these two categories is the mode of activation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Active skills did not require manual activation as certain actions could cause triggers, while one had to activate the active ability manually. However, almost every ability is unique and corresponds to a certain strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n

The characters listed below are not listed in any particular order, and their ability attributes are at the first level.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ability Homer<\/a> is one of the most powerful skills ever released in Free Fire, and the first proper \u201cstrike ability\u201d in the game. <\/span><\/p>\n

Usually, character abilities are only for defensive purposes or statistical buffing. Even though its cooldown is a bit long, its correct use allows the user to win battles fairly easily.<\/span><\/p>\n

Slowing is the most powerful part of the skill, effectively preventing enemies from running or fighting back.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dimitri<\/span><\/h3>\n

Creates a 3.5 meter healing zone. Inside, the user and allies recover 3HP\/s. When downed, the user and allies can recover to get back up. Lasts 15 seconds, CD 60 seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dimitri's FF character skill is a strong ability in teamfight. This allows teammates to heal themselves while you provide cover fire. <\/span><\/p>\n

In OB34, Dimitri's ability will allow recovering players to move around and not lose HP anymore. This is a huge buff and will further increase the character's effectiveness.<\/span><\/p>\n

This skill can also be used in ranged combat, where the enemy is unable to get close to a fallen target. Players can turn on the aura as insurance if they fall.<\/span><\/p>\n

Painted Steffie<\/span><\/h3>\n

Creates a 4 meter area blocking throws. Allies in the area will recover 10 percent armor durability every second and damage to ammunition taken from enemies will be reduced by 20 percent. Lasted 15 seconds. CDs: 60's. Effects don't stack.<\/span><\/p>\n

On OB33, it's on Steffie<\/a> has been revamped into a much more useful version, gaining reduced bullet damage and the ability to block throws. <\/span><\/p>\n

However, the FF character's skills are still somewhat underpowered, because the cooldown is quite long. The skill is also not very mobile, because the area does not follow when the player moves.<\/span><\/p>\n

The reworking of Painted Refuge in the previous patch makes this skill the perfect choice for support in Free Fire. <\/span><\/p>\n

It looks like Garena wants to increase the support role, as the skill has received a bit of a buff in OB34. With a reduced cooldown of 30 seconds at all levels, that ability should be the first choice now.<\/span><\/p>\n

Releases a forward sonic wave that damages 5 gloo walls within 100 meters. 60's CDs. In addition, each Gloo Wall used will restore 9 HP. The recovery effect does not stack.<\/span><\/p>\n
Skyler is one of the characters who got nerfed through the OB34 update. Now, Skyler's cooldown (variable with level increase) is 85 seconds at first ability level. The developers have left the other attributes untouched, so the nerf doesn't affect capabilities as much.<\/span><\/p>\n
So, in Free Fire MAX, Skyler's \u201cRiptide Rhythm\u201d is still one of the most balanced active skills. Upon activation, Skyler can release sonic waves to destroy up to five enemy gloo walls within a certain range. In addition to sonic waves, Riptide Rhythm provides HP recovery.<\/span><\/p>\n
HP recovery occurs every time the user uses a gloo wall while Riptide Rhythm is active. The HP bar increases with each apply, while recovery starts at four points.<\/span><\/p>\n
Overall, this skill is pretty good \u2013 it's worth using for gloo wall damage alone and the healing is just the cherry on top. Skyler's ability used to have a lower cooldown, but the new cooldown is still manageable.<\/span><\/p>\n
This ability is especially useful in the later stages of the game, where players deploy gloo walls to fight at close quarters.<\/span><\/p>\n
Active abilities in Garena Free Fire MAX are generally considered superior to their passive counterparts. So, for this reason, players can only use one active skill with three passive abilities in a character combination.<\/span><\/p>\n
