The Free Fire Advance server, the beta test for the upcoming OB33 patch, is finally out. This showcases a series of changes and new features that may be added in a future patch. <\/span><\/p>\n

In this article, we will show you everything that's new in the Free Fire OB33 Advance Server, including new characters, pets, new weapons, and much more.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not all features from the Advance server will be implemented in later patch releases.<\/span><\/p>\n

Update Free Fire OB33 Advance Server<\/span><\/h2>\n

New Mystery Character<\/span><\/h3>\n

The new mystery character in OB33 has an ability called Swordman's Wrath. This ability is like a fusion of Hayato's old Art of Blades skill and Chrono's shield. <\/span><\/p>\n

The skill creates a shield that blocks incoming weapon damage from the front, which expires on its own if the player fires a single shot.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to leaks, the new character is named Kenta, who has appeared in Free Fire comics before. He is Hayato's bodyguard and firearms expert. <\/span><\/p>\n

Overall, Kenta's abilities aren't very strong, being barely usable for any offensive strategy. For this skill to be useful, it requires a very short cooldown.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rework Character Skills<\/span><\/h3>\n

Note that all the character skills mentioned here are the level 1 versions. They may get better at high levels.<\/span><\/p>\n

A124<\/span><\/h4>\n

A124 will get a completely new skill rework. His ability to heal himself has been lost. <\/span><\/p>\n

The thrill of combat is now an active ability that creates an 8 meter electromagnetic pulse that disables skill activation and cooldown of any enemy interactions. This ability has a duration of 60 seconds and a cooldown of 50 seconds, meaning players can activate it at any time<\/span><\/p>\n

Overall, it's yet to be seen whether this ability is actually useful. A124 is now a melee rusher character, whose ability is to distract enemies from using his skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

Steffie<\/span><\/h4>\n

Previously, Steffie's skills did almost nothing with just a very small 5 percent reduction in bullet damage. However, he was much more useful now. <\/span><\/p>\n

The new Painted Refuge will block all expendable items and restore armor resistance by 10 percent per second for allied characters. In addition, it also reduces the ammunition damage received by the enemy by 10 percent.<\/span><\/p>\n

The duration of this skill is also very large, lasts 20 seconds with a short cooldown of 45 seconds. This ability has the potential to be defeated and is likely to be nerfed by the release of Free Fire OB33.<\/span><\/p>\n

Raphael<\/span><\/h4>\n

Dead Silent Rafael has recently been buffed but it seems that it is still not as popular as Garena expected. Because of that, they decided to buff the skill again.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new version of Dead Silent in Free Fire OB33 has an additional effect that causes the enemy to bleed faster with every successful hit. <\/span><\/p>\n

This means that after taking down an enemy, players can bleed it after one or two more shots. Overall, this little buff could finally bring Rafael to popularity.<\/span><\/p>\n

New Weapon<\/span><\/h3>\n

Garena has been diligent about adding new weapons to the game with each patch, and on the Free Fire OB33 Advance server, they added two new weapons instead of one, namely G36 and F2000.<\/span><\/p>\n

The G36 is similar to the M4A1 \u2013 in fact it is equipped with two firing modes that can be used in a variety of situations. It will likely be the strongest weapon in this patch.<\/span><\/p>\n

The F2000 is also an AR but not as powerful as the G36. This is more of a balanced weapon for beginners.<\/span><\/p>\n

New Pet Axolotl Zasil<\/span><\/h3>\n

Zasil's new pet is a baby axolotl with the ability to double a player's Inhaler, Med Kit, or Repair Kit. At level 1, any time a player uses one of those items, there's a chance they'll get an extra copy of that item for free.<\/span><\/p>\n
This skill seems overpowered at first glance, but is actually quite weak. In addition to percentage-based activation, it also has a long cooldown of 120 seconds. Getting a free medkit every 2 minutes is just a minimal bonus that doesn't affect the game much in the long run.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
You can't even collect them in large quantities, because you need to use items to trigger skills.<\/span><\/p>\n
