The Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo SE GX551 is quite expensive, but behind that name is one of the most powerful and innovative gaming laptops (a lot of) money can buy. The GX551 uses the latest Nvidia RTX 3000 series graphics chip and eight AMD Zen 3 processors \u2013 alongside a second screen that promises to shake up games, creative workloads and Duo's unique design brings many other advantages.<\/p>\n

However, with a design that tends to be prone to splitting, problems with the keyboard and battery are quite annoying. Not to mention, gamers have to shell out \u00a33,499 (or approx. Rp.69,604,242.39-) for this laptop \u2013 so can the GX551 prove its worth as the ultimate gaming laptop?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

For whom anyway<\/em> use of this laptop? From the name, Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo SE GX551, 'ROG' stands for Republic of Gamers and Zephyrus is a high-end sub-brand of Asus, so it's clear that the GX551 is primarily designed for those who want the best experience possible. Most laptops gaming<\/em> also used for content creation, incl stream<\/em> and video production, so Asus reckons that the GX551 can satisfy the crowd gamers<\/em>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Now,<\/em>, that's why this machine has high-end graphics and processing hardware and that's why Asus worked so hard to cram a second screen inside this laptop.<\/span><\/p>\n

The second screen is called the ScreenPad, and it's a 14-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 3840 x 1100. The RTX 3080 is Nvidia's newest and most powerful laptop GPU, with a powerful 6144 Amp CUDA core. The larger version has been used here, with 16GB of dedicated memory, and the GX551 pairs a mighty graphics core with an eight-core AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, 32GB of memory and a pair of 1TB Samsung SSDs set up in a RAID 0 configuration. The Asus Duo SE GX551 will play almost any game at 4K or 1080p, and the CPU will scan through video editing, content creation, and stream<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

ScreenPad also adds another dimension to this laptop. Depend on games<\/em> you play and the creative apps you use, they can prove invaluable. That second screen was causing the problem. This gets in the way of the keyboard and trackpad, makes the machine heavier, contributes to poorer battery life and drives up the price drastically. <\/span>In conclusion, back to the wishes of the users, anyway<\/em>.<\/p>\n
