Game developers<\/em> Genshin Impact i.e. miHoYo recently changed the company name (rebranding<\/em>) Becomes HoYoVerse<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

miHoYo Co., Ltd. or miHoYo is development video games<\/em> from China based in Shanghai in 2012. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company is globally renowned for developing games <\/em>RPGs open world <\/em>famous Genshin Impact and also games <\/em>RPG Honkai Impact 3rd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

miHoYo also features otome game <\/em>which is quite popular globally, namely Tears of Themis in 2021 and is planning a release turn-based games <\/em>new Honkai Star Rail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rebranding miHoYo Becomes HoYoVerse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Starting on February 14, 2022, everyone games <\/em>miHoYo has changed to HoYoVerse. This also applies to all gaming website domains, <\/em>like Genshin Impact, which was originally mihoyo.com changed to hoyoverse.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On page website <\/em>An official from HoyoVerse said, \u201cHoYoVerse is committed to creating immersive virtual world experiences for players around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HoYoverse appears to be focused on continuing miHoYo's current global operations, and expanding its content production and technology research through offices around the world, including Canada, US, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apart from game products such as Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd, Tears of Themis, and Honkai: Star Rail, HoYoverse also launched virtual characters <\/em>Lumi, dynamic desktop software N0va Desktop, a product of the HoYoLAB community, and creates products such as animation, comics, music, novels, and merchandise around its products. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reasons for Changing the Name to HoYoVerse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Rebranding<\/em> or changing the company name to HoYoVerse is not clear why. There has been no official statement regarding the reason behind the company name change but as it appears, the company's focus will be related to miHoYo's expansion globally and beyond China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of 2021, players were also shocked by changes publishers <\/em>Genshin Impact. On Epic Games for example, publishers <\/em>or the release of Genshin Impact which was originally done by miHoYo, has changed the label to COGNOSPHERE PTE. LTD<\/em> or simply Cognosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
miHoYo itself has made an official announcement that Cognosphere is a subsidiary of miHoYo for global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This name change had become an issue among players. Many are concerned about changes in quality, especially content for games <\/em>Genshin Impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It's hard not to say that Genshin Impact's massive success helped HoYoverse become what it is today and made this latest change possible. Genshin Impact itself was a success games <\/em>best in 2020 beats this GTA for offering experience games <\/em>with high quality but can be accessed for free (free-to-play<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is feared that this change will affect the quality of Genshin Impact and bring disappointment to players even though HoYoVerse has promised not to change any service and quality to games<\/em> published.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competition between companies in the development of the Metaverse, the 3D virtual world, is increasingly intense. Large and experienced technology companies such as Bandai and Microsoft are also competing in Metaverse development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many consider miHoYo to release this HoYoVerse as a form of anticipation so that there will not be too many significant changes to the product games <\/em>like Genshin Impact and doesn't reduce its quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Related regulations games <\/em>in China regulate various things such as disciplining the playing schedule games<\/em> as well as details from videogames <\/em>the.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
