VALORANT will be getting new features in 2021!<\/h4>\n
Hello Vicigers, the latest Valorant leak shows that in patch 2.06, the timeout feature will be present! This feature is reportedly similar to a feature found in CSGO, which allows players to vote timeouts.<\/span><\/p>\n

While it can often be tucked under the rug as another quality of life feature, the availability of a timer function is a lifesaver. Whether someone needs an emergency bathroom break, someone needs to reset their router to fix their internet problems, or a food delivery service is at the door, a basic timer or pause function can prove to be an integral feature of competitive multiplayer play.<\/p>\n
But that's only one side of the story. The other side will only become clear when reflecting on the impact of tactical waiting time on the esports environment. Taking a short break to discuss strategy for the next few rounds can add a very interesting layer of game dynamics to Valorant.<\/p>\n
ValorLeaks recently tweeted about the possibility of adding a time limit feature to Valorant. With the recent release of Valorant Patch 2.05, this feature will not be present in the patch. However, there is a possibility that we will see him in the next Valorant patch which is Patch 2.06.<\/span><\/p>\n
Teams will not be able to vote for the timeout immediately after just using it.<\/span><\/p>\n
There's no denying that the time limit feature is an integral part of the game where the action is so intense that it can be a deal breaker if one's connection fails even a little. <\/span><\/p>\n
Valorant is an ideal candidate for games where stories like this are common. <\/span>In addition there will be a maximum number of timeouts that players can use in one match, although the number is not yet known.<\/p>\n
