Pikachu has two abilities that need to be learned before jumping into Pokemon Unite.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Static<\/strong> \u2013 First, Pikachu's Passive ability is Static. When Pikachu takes damage, Static causes all nearby enemies to get a slow debuff for a while before going on cooldown.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Because of this effect, Pikachu excels at chasing opponents stupid enough to poke a Pokemon. It also makes it easier to run away from those trying to finish you off, especially when on your side of the arena.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Basic Attack<\/strong> \u2013 Pikachu's Basic Attack is also a powerful tool, which becomes an attack that improves with every third hit. Enhanced basic attacks deal increased damage, and paralyze (slow) opposing Pokemon for a short period of time when hit.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In fast-paced games like Pokemon Unite, you have to adapt quickly and choose the moves that are right for you. But Electro Ball is definitely the best beginner's choice.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
