The good news is, there are several easy ways to view your Wi-Fi password on your laptop, whether you're using Windows or a MacBook. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to View WiFi Password on Windows 10 & 11 Laptops<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If your laptop uses Windows 10 or 11, you can directly check your Wi-Fi password via Control Panel or Command Prompt (CMD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Via Control Panel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Use the Windows+R shortcut, type 'control panel', then Enter to open Control Panel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select the Network and Internet menu \u2192 Network and Sharing Center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. On the right, click the name of the WiFi network you are currently connected to.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click Wireless Properties \u2192 open the Security tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Check the Show Characters box to display your WiFi password.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Done! In the \u201cNetwork security key\u201d column, you'll immediately see the Wi-Fi password saved on your laptop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Via Command Prompt (CMD)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    1. First, press the Windows and R keys simultaneously. Then, type 'cmd' in the window that appears, and press Enter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Type the following command and press Enter: netsh wlan show profile<\/code> This command will display a list of all WiFi networks that have ever been connected to your laptop.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Select one of the WiFi names, then type the command: netsh wlan show profile name="YourWiFiName" key=clear<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Scroll down until you find the Key Content section, where your WiFi password is written.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
