With its fifth installment, it's clear that this title is not a 'yesterday afternoon' franchise. The developer, Iron Hide<\/a>, has succeeded in 'conjuring' many gamers out there into their loyal fans.<\/p>\n
The Uruguayan studio released the first installation of Kingdom Rush in July 2011. For this debut title, the developer still prioritized the Flash platform in line with the trends at that time.<\/p>\n
And also along with the rise of the tower defense genre at that time, it is not surprising that this game was also able to get a fairly good reception from various industry players.<\/p>\n
As a result, high market demand made the developer port it to various other platforms! In December of the same year, the game then entered the mobile scene (Android and iOS).<\/p>\n

As a tower defense game, Kingdom Rush actually carries a fairly common gameplay: players must defeat waves of enemies before they reach the end of the road and drain their lives.<\/p>\n
To prevent the wave, players must build defense towers at certain points. These towers, which have different types of attacks and functions, will later injure incoming enemies.<\/p>\n
The game offers four types of towers: archers, mages, artillery, and barracks. Each enemy that is defeated will give players gold that they can use to buy more towers.<\/p>\n
At higher levels later, players can also use this gold to upgrade towers that have been built. In addition, players also have two abilities, namely meteors and reinforcements.<\/p>\n
Each ability is able to help overcome incoming waves, but requires time to recharge (cooldown) before it can be used again. Finally, this game also carries a hero system.<\/p>\n
As the name suggests, a hero is a unit that is stronger than a regular soldier, can move and maneuver freely, and has special abilities that make it more effective in defeating waves.<\/p>\n

And after quite a long gap from the release of its last installation titled Kingdom Rush 4: Vengeance in 2018, Iron Hide then announced the continuation of the sequel in 2024!<\/p>\n
The fifth sequel, which is dubbed \u201cAlliance,\u201d is now available for pre-order on the platform. Androids<\/a>, and PC as of July 25th. As for\u00a0iOS<\/a> even get an earlier schedule, namely since April 10.<\/p>\n
The plot of the story focuses on the lore of the alliance between King Denas and Vez'nan. Later, the towers and heroes in this sequel will be troops from both kingdoms.<\/p>\n
