After previously being postponed, Special Program Genshin Impact<\/a> Update 4.2 went live last Friday (November 3, 2023).<\/span><\/p>\n

Apart from releasing Hydro Archon or Furina as characters that you can get in this update banner, there are various interesting updates, especially the continuation of Fontaine's Archon Quest.<\/span><\/p>\n

This time the author has summarized the contents of Special Program update 4.2 for victims who haven't had time to watch the rerun of the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

Genshin Impact Special Program Recap 4.2<\/b><\/h2>\n
Furina Character Banner, Charlotte, Rerun Character Banner<\/b><\/h3>\n

In this 4.2 update, Furina<\/a> and Charlotte is a new character that you can get.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
Furina itself is another name for the Hydro Archon that we have previously met in Fontaine's Archon Quest so far.<\/span><\/p>\n
Furina's power is unique because she can use Arkhe Ousia and Pneuma simultaneously, unlike other Fontaine characters who only have one Arkhe.<\/span><\/p>\n
Furina will later use the Hydro element with a sword weapon, and will be on the banner in the first part of the update along with the Baizhu rerun banner.<\/span><\/p>\n
The new sword, Splendor of Tranquil Waters, will be a special weapon for Furina.<\/span><\/p>\n
Charlotte is the new 4 star Cryo Catalyst character that you can get in the second banner.<\/span><\/p>\n

Weekly Boss All-Devouring Narwhal and World Boss Hydro Tulpa<\/b><\/h3>\n

Because there are new characters, of course there will be a new Weekly Boss and World Boss that you will need drop materials to increase your talent level and character level.<\/span><\/p>\n
All-Devouring Narwhal will be the new Weekly Boss presented in update 4.2.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
This boss in the form of a large whale has a familiar form because it previously appeared in one of Childe's dream scenes Archon Quest 4.1<\/a> yesterday.<\/span><\/p>\n
Hydro Tulpa is a boss that was introduced at the same time for the new Fontaine area in the form of a Hydro mimic like Oceanid.<\/span><\/p>\n
You will most likely be able to access the domain to fight the All-Devouring Narwhal if you have completed Archon Quest 4.2 "Masquerade of the Guilty".<\/span><\/p>\n

East area of the city Fontaine<\/a> or rather at the back of the Opera Epiclese can finally be explored.<\/span><\/p>\n
This newly opened area will be divided into 2 regions, namely the Erinnyes Forest region and the Morte region<\/span><\/p>\n
Erinnyes Forest is divided into sections such as Loch Urania, Weeping Willow of the Lake, and various other areas.<\/span><\/p>\n
Meanwhile, in the Morte area, you can explore an uninhabited tower full of mysteries.<\/span><\/p>\n
You can later explore this place further along with World Quests such as The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes.<\/span><\/p>\n
To open the tower called The Sealed Ruin Tower, you must complete a quest called Search in the Algae Sea.<\/span><\/p>\n
You have to open 4 parameters throughout the Quest to be able to open the tower. You must complete the quest because it will relate to the secrets of the Primordial Sea.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thelxie's Fantastic Adventure<\/b> is an event where you and Freminet will help investigate rumors regarding mystical creatures around Erinnyes.<\/span><\/p>\n
The investigation will be assisted by the Clockwork Penguin robot owned by Freminet. You will help develop the robot's abilities, carry out investigations, and more with the Clockwork Penguin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
Lil Fungi Fun-tastic Fiesta<\/b> This event is a continuation of a series of Fungi events such as Fabulous Fungi Frenzy and Fungi Mechanicus<\/a> which was presented in several previous patches. This fun event was introduced to the Fontaine region in a format against other enemies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
Graph Adversarial Technology Experiments Log <\/b>is an event that will assign travelers to capture photos of various objects according to certain colors. You will use a new camera that can zoom in on objects.<\/span><\/p>\n
Apart from that, there are also rerun events, namely <\/span>Misty Dungeon: Realm of Water<\/b> and <\/span>Leyline Overflow<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Character Quest System Optimization and Others<\/b><\/h3>\n

Genshin Impact also announced 4 optimizations to the system that will make it easier and provide a comfortable playing experience for Travelers.<\/span><\/p>\n
The first optimization is that a quick menu will be presented to access the Weekly Boss. This menu will make it easier for early level 40 Travelers to farm Boss materials that you haven't had the chance to unlock through the Archon Quest.<\/span><\/p>\n
Next there will be an update for TCG Invocations where you will be able to show your Deck to other players, speed up the game, add new cards, and increase the Deck slots to 20.<\/span><\/p>\n
For old players who have just started playing Genshin Impact again, Stellar Reunion will receive an update where you can access various quick tutorials regarding game mechanics that you may have missed.<\/span><\/p>\n
The last update is the red arrow notification which usually always appears when you play from the device.<\/span><\/p>\n
On the Character Story Quest page, you can choose whether to start the Story Quest or not without it starting automatically like in the previous patch.<\/span><\/p>\n
