About Minecraft Villagers

Minecraft Villagers are passive in-game mobs that can be very useful in survival games.

They usually spawn in villages, igloo dungeons, or if the player heals zombie villagers. They can also have one of many professions, which determine what kind of trades will be available to players when trading with those villagers.

Their appearance always changes according to the biome the village they are in. Thus, the Tundra villagers look different from the Taiga villagers.

They have been a part of the game since Minecraft Beta. In fact, the villagers were added as part of the pre-release Beta 1.9 version of the game.

At that time, Minecraft Villager consisted of only five types and had much lower functions and characteristics. Over the years, Mojang added more features such as baby villagers and green-robed Nitwits, those without jobs.

With the Minecraft 1.14 update, Mojang is trying to make some changes to the way a Minecraft Resident behaves and interacts with players.

Also, with 1.14, you must now unlock five Villager trading levels to get better trades. The price of various products during the trading of Minecraft villagers is determined by the player's level of popularity in that village.

With Minecraft 1.16, spawning of iron golems has become even easier, as it no longer depends on the professional status or last job time of a Minecraft villager.
