Spieler k\u00f6nnen mehrere W\u00f6rter zu einer Bedeutung kombinieren und diese sammeln, um 1 Hinweis zu erhalten.<\/p>\n
Um einen Hinweis zu erhalten, m\u00fcssen die Spieler drei W\u00f6rter finden, die keinen Zusammenhang mit dem R\u00e4tsel haben, um das es gerade geht.<\/p>\n

Neben NYT Strands hat die New York Times mehrere andere Spiele in ihrer \u201eBibliothek\u201c, wie zum Beispiel Spelling Bee und Vertex.<\/p>\n
Die Idee zu diesem Spiel entstand bei ihrer Forschungsdirektorin Juliette Seive, die einen Prototyp entwickelte, den wir sp\u00e4ter als Strands kennen w\u00fcrden.<\/p>\n
Nachdem ihm die Idee gekommen war, pr\u00e4sentierte er sie auf der j\u00e4hrlichen Spieleveranstaltung der New York Times.<\/p>\n
Der Prototyp von Strands wurde schlie\u00dflich einige Wochen sp\u00e4ter vom Komitee der New York Times genehmigt.<\/p>\n
Auch das amerikanische Monatsmagazin Vanity Fair berichtete, dass die New York Times im Jahr 2023 dabei sei, ein neues Wortsuchspiel zu entwickeln.<\/p>\n
Nach einem ziemlich langen Prozess wurde das Spiel NYT Strands am 4. M\u00e4rz 2024 schlie\u00dflich erfolgreich in der Beta-Version ver\u00f6ffentlicht und konnte direkt auf der offiziellen Spieleseite gespielt werden.<\/p>\n
Die von Strands selbst geposteten R\u00e4tsel wurden von Tracy Bennett bearbeitet. Es ist auch bekannt, dass Tracy ein anderes Spiel namens Wordle f\u00fcr die New York Times herausgegeben hat.<\/p>\n
